CLIENT Overview
Our client is a disruptive start up which is aiming to revolutionise the way in which companies engage with temporary and agency staff. Their sectors of focus employ several million people and the company’s target is to acquire a 3%-5% share of this market by developing innovative technologies to connect various parties and creating intelligent data analytics to harness the full power of the resulting human network.

The Ask
The company has raised generous funding and signed multiple contracts with various parties in a complex ecosystem of companies, agencies and skilled / semi-skilled staff. The leadership/management team is versatile with decades of experience in their field. However, they lacked the technical expertise to shape the technology offering and develop a robust architecture that allows scaling up without limits. The immediate requirement was to develop a cross platform mobile application that facilitates onboarding, workflows and communication within this complex ecosystem.
Following a series of technical discussions Invenics were engaged by the client to help in shaping, developing and launching the technology platform. As the client’s business model fundamentally depends on this technology, Invenics shares a substantial responsibility to ensure that the platform is robust and provides the critical operational features desired.

Our Process
Invenics put together a team of skilled design experts, technology architects and developers to iteratively create a rapid prototype of the solution. The team initially focused efforts on designing the end-to-end user experience and developed a compelling User Interface for the product. To ensure speed of prototyping, the team considered the use of various low code platforms including Bubble and Flutterflow and decided to go ahead with Flutterflow due to its cross platform capabilities. A Google Firebase database was designed and various other components in the architecture were shaped quickly.
Security features such as two factor authentication using OTPs were developed, and a full GDPR compliant model was designed to store the information required.
Through iterative rapid prototyping process, a fully demonstrable application for Android devices was created within 6 weeks and presented to the client. The client were pleased and excited to see the product taking shape and committed to full scale development over a long term. Invenics has been awarded the exclusive development partner for the client going forward.
Further work is ongoing to develop more advanced features such as complex connections, viewing and storage of documents, AI/ML based automated analysis and decision making within the platform, easy to use intuitive interfaces in multiple languages, and ability to operate in areas with limited/poor mobile connectivity through cached data or asynchronous messaging.

Key Metrics
The platform, when fully developed, will be able to scale up to several hundred thousand users seamlessly. Cost is a very important consideration and the design has been reviewed thoroughly to ensure that the platform is as lightweight as possible to ensure computational efficiency.
Arnab Dutta, Director – Digital & AI at Invenics said: “ This is an exciting project for us at Invenics. To be the exclusive development partner of a company establishing a national scale solution with potentially millions of users, is a challenging ask. With our highly experienced team of technology and user experience specialists, we are well placed to convert this vision of our client into reality. The technology architecture has been carefully designed to provide maximum efficiency, scalability, performance and ROI and the future AI/ML possibilities in this platform are limitless.”
